Harper-Mae valóságos influenszerré nőtte ki magát fiatal kora ellenére, ami érthető: nagyon sok nyitott gerinccel élő sorstársa nem képes kiemelkedni a kerekesszékből egy életen át. Szerencsére ma már a korai fejlesztés sokat segít abban, hogy a kis betegek életminősége minél teljesebb legyen, ám a járás így is csodás eseménynek számít.
