It’s like home. Like home in my heart. I’m not sure why, but I can feel it inside. In Ghana physical contact is very present. I love physical contact, especially with the ones I love. It’s like telling you like or love someone without using words. Just like my work, it’s showing love without the use of language. Even when it’s not perfect. Living in different areas of Ghana and being close and intimate with the local people here, they prefer the pure human as it is. Why do you remove your hair on your legs? It’s beautiful, keep it. Why do you put make-up on? I love your face. I realize how brainwashed we are in the western world. Not sure if this image is the perfect reference but it shows that we’re not afraid of physical contact. happy happy birthday to me. I was in doubt to post this, but then again by applying nudity within my work, I invoke a sense of trust between my models and their body as well as my relationship with the models. I find them anywhere (and most of the time not through an agency) and through this intimate approach, most of the time we become friends afterwards. for some reason we always stay in touch. no matter where we are on the world. so if they share their vulnerability with me why not share mine too. all of you are my gift to life! without you this couldn’t exist. let’s keep loving each other. #grateful #blessed ❤?

Missing you @emsoders I took this photo of you in your hometown on the rooftop of the house where you grew up, it was so lovely to get invited by you all the way from holland to sweden.
