Hi Dallas ? I’m pleased to announce that I’m doing a FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC Artist Talk this Wednesday at @art_smu . I previously thought that it was for SMU students only… I thought it only existed within a SMU-lation… but alas, it’s free. You know, it’s been said that, “The best things in life are free”… and that, “Everything’s bigger in Texas” (my auto correct was able to predict the word ‘Texas’, isn’t that cute?): And you know what? I plan on living up to both of these cliche’d sentiments. I’m excited to share some ideas about “reality”, media and politics in the age of techno(logical) singularity~ part performance, part lecture, part art. I’m soooo thrilled to reflexxx on Deep Web, the haute couture collection by designer @floramirandaofficial + live performance by yours truly, which made its debut last week in Paris. I wrote and performed the role of Halo, a hyperreal estate agent + cyborgian thot leader showcasing the step-by-step process of how machines can and will be trained to gain their own sentient ability to uniquely produce garments, objects, and art through the use of neural networking systems, 3D scans, point-cloud optimization, mapping and segmentation, and printing.
