Johansson Egyik-másik képéhez werkfilmet is készít.

#tbt to when I created Cut & Fold in 2012. I thought that landscapes can sometimes resemble paper, the way it goes up and down, bends and stretches. Not exactly like paper but I thought that it would be interesting to do an idea making a landscape behave even more like paper. I bought some different papers and tried to fold and bend them in different ways, I liked the way of the paper opening up like this. I also thought it could be a natural transition using the dotted line in the road as a “cut along the line” that you sometimes see (saw?) in magazines and newspapers. I knew I wanted the landscape to take up most of the canvas so I thought that it would be a good idea to shoot it from a higher perspective looking over the landscape. I found a silo I could shoot from, about 15-20 meters up. To make sure to make the folding landscape look realistic I shoot several different shots of the field from the top of the silo. I then shot a piece of paper folded the same way that I wanted the landscape to fold and used that as a guide of how to transform the field as well as a reference for how the shadow would fall on the object if a landscape was to be shaped this way. To give a sense of perspective I shot a biker on the road as well, what would he do when he would reach the obstacle? What comes to your mind when you see this image? (There is also a behind the scenes video of it on my website). #throwbackthursday #cutandfold #erikjohansson #bts #surreal #road #photography #photoshop

Here is a short peak into the process of how I created one of the images for the NCC campaign. I wanted to make it look like the old facade comes off the old building like a fabric. And the best way to make something look realistic is to do it for real. I therefore shot and printed the building onto a 3×5 m fabric to make sure the creases and behavior of the fabric would look realistic. I shot the old buildings around Prague and I shot the models in Stockholm. All shot on @hasselblad_official and put together in @photoshop . #NCC #commissioned #beyondconstruction #bts #behindthescenes #erikjohansson #surreal #building #construction #video #fabric #houses #people #summer #hasselblad #h6d50c #photoshop #adobe #shooting #photography #retouching @garbergs_reception @agentmollyandco @ncc_ab

New work! “Full Moon Service” ??? This is a photo I’ve been working on from now and then for the past 8 months. Shot in the late summer of 2016 a beautiful calm evening in the middle of Sweden outside of Götene. I brought out 7 rice lamps, 7 light bulbs, an electric generator, a car and two models out in a field. The main part that has been retouched in this photo is to replace the rice ball with a moon texture, the light and the mood was very close to what you see in the photo. I would love to hear your thoughts about it. What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you see it? …see more details on my website by following the link in my profile . #fullmoonservice #erikjohansson #surreal #landscape #moon #fullmoon #lights #shooting #hasselblad #h6d50c #photography #print #holmestad #sweden #moons

New work: Demand & Supply. This is a photo manipulation I’ve been working on for the past months but I started thinking about it already in 2015 when I went to Faroe Islands to shoot the first parts of it. All material is shot by me, landscapes shot on Faroe Islands, houses shot in Stockholm and Prague. Excavator and truck is a 1:50 scale model shot in studio. Composed in @photoshop in a total of 340 layers with a total file weight of 7.77 GB (8272 x 6200 pixels). Includes no CGI, drawn elements or stock photos. Material shot on @hasselblad_official To see the larger sized un-cropped photo head over to my website, link in profile! . #erikjohansson #island #earth #dirt #excavator #demand #supply #hourglass #apple #faroeislands #visitfaroeislands #hasselblad #H6D50C #photoshop #adobe
