Morning guys, I’m now back home from a very brief trip out to LA for the opening of #betwixtandbetween this past Saturday night! Just want to share my deepest appreciation for everyone who made it out to the show and said hi, it’s always such a pleasure talking with you guys! As well to everyone who supported me and purchased work and prints ~ you’re keeping me painting and wanting to do better all the time ✨? Here’s my painting ‘Meltdown’ – 16×20″, oil and acrylic on panel (sold). Happy new year guys ??? I’m kicking off 2018 with a big show at @thinkspace_art ~ #betwixtandbetween opens this Saturday! Feels like I started the work for this show yesterday, but really I started them last winter around this time.. This sneak of a painting being one of the first, I was inspired by a photograph by Ashish Shah and used my own ref to get the pose and fabric looking right. Collectors preview will be going out sometime this week, so if you’re interested in the work at all, you can email the gallery at contact@thinkspacegallery.com I’m traveling to LA for the opening this Saturday as well, if you can make it out to join! Finished this commission a little while back (though I’m having to censor it for IG) – „Aegean Sisters”, 18×24″, oil and acrylic on panel. Excited to say I’ll have prints of this one available through @1xrun next Monday as well! Will post more details about that soon ?
