A lány 'Big Gal Yoga' néven kezdte el vállalkozását, és ma már közel 150 ezren követik.

Az utóbbi években egyre több híresség, sportoló és influencer áll ki a test-pozitív szemléletmód mellett, amelynek fontos eleme, hogy bármilyen testalkattal felvállalhassuk magunkat, vágyainkat és hobbijainkat. A mozgalom egyik fő zászlóvivője, Valerie Sagun például plus-size testalkattal kezdett bele a jógába, azonban ez nem okozott hátrányt abban, hogy mára már a profik között emlegessük a nevét. Az egyébként képzőművészként tevékenykedő lány könyvet is írt a test-pozitív jógáról, és rendszeresen turnézik a világban, hogy előadásain és óráin átadja tudását a jógiknak.

Cannot believe @bombsheller is closing 😢! I just love everything about this company! Especially that they have been so great on having inclusive sizing true to size all the way up to 6X, and have let me be able to be creative with designs of my own to wear! Will truly miss them but I hope they are able to still do great things in the future! If you are still unsure of sizing, I wear a 2x with them and its snug but not too tight. All these sizes are true to size, so dont think you need to go all the way up just for it to fit! Bigger bodies are allowed to take the space we want and need to better our lives. Our bodies our powerful and strong. Living and active life means consciously doing what you are passionate about and drives you to live a more fulfilled life. It’ll all take time to change habits and the business of adult life, nothing happens overnight, but do it because it drives you. Day 18 of the #Selflovingyogis July challenge ❣Boat Pose . Sit on the floor with the legs out in front of you. You will balancing on your sit bones which could possibly hurt if you are not used to it, so you can place a folded blanket underneath to give you a bit of cushion. Find a nice upright seat as you lengthen the spine, bend the knees with the feet flat on the floor, and bring the arms out in front hovering by the sides of the knees. Still keeping the spine lengthened lean back rocking onto that sweet spot of the sit bones, and lifting the feet up off to the floor, and shins parallel to the floor as you balance on the sit bones. If it’s hard to find that balance just yet with both feet off the floor, lift one foot at a time off the ground, finding balance on each side till you can balance with both off the floor, or you can use props to prop up your feet a bit higher up. .
